Winners Never Quit and Quitters Never Win... |
But in real life if you think practically then Failure is
more important than success. All the businessmen, scientists and great men in
our history have failed many times before becoming successful in life. When we
are doing so many things, it is not necessary that everything will be perfect.
But if you stop trying because of this, you can never succeed.
Let us take one example of Henry Ford, a billiard and owner
of the world famous Ford Motor Company. Ford failed in five other businesses
before becoming successful. If someone else had broken five times due to
failure in different business and sinking in the loan. But Ford did not do this
and today is owner of a bilinear company.
If you talk of failure, Thomas Alva Edison's name comes
first. He did about 1000 failed experiments before making light bulbs. Albert Einstein, who was a great Scientist did not know
anything until the age of 4 and was an illiterate until the age of 7. People
considered him as mentally weak but on the basis of his theory and principles,
he became the greatest scientist in the world.
Now imagine what would have happened if Henry Ford had sat
down disappointed after failing in five businesses or Edison would have given
up hope after 999 unsuccessful experiments and Einstein would have thought of
himself as a weak brain?
We would have been unaware of many great talents and
inventions. So my dear friends, failure is more important than success. Failure
shows the path of success to man.
Some great man told that -
"Winners never quit and quitters never win"
Today all people curse their fate and circumstances. Now
just imagine if Edison too could stop thinking of himself as unlucky, the world
would be deprived of a very big invention. Einstein could also curse his fate
and circumstances, but he did not do so, why do you.
Even if you have failed in some work, then what is the end?
Is it not, try again, because those who try will never give up.
The main cause of failure is not your skills, rather your
effort and lack of confidence or fear. Let me tell you a story.
“A person was passing by the way when he saw an elephant
standing tied to a small wooden peg. It was astonishing to see the person that
such a huge elephant is tied to that wooden peg with the help of a thin rope. The person was surprised and laughed seeing this too. The
person said to the owner of the elephant - hey this elephant is so huge then
why is it tied with this thin rope and pegs? He can break this rope in one
stroke, but why is it still tied?
The owner of the elephant told the person, sir, when this
elephant was small, I tied it with a rope at the same time. At that time it
tried its best to pull the pegs and break the rope, but it was short so it
failed. It tried thousands of times, but when it did not break the rope, the
elephant believed that this rope was very strong and it would never break it,
thus the elephant ended the attempt to break the rope. Today this elephant has become so huge, but the same belief
remains in its mind that it will not break the rope, so it never tries to break
it. Therefore, despite being so huge, this elephant is tied with a thin rope.
"
Friends, just like that elephant, we too become such beliefs
in humans with which we can never overcome. Once we fail, we assume that we can
no longer succeed, and then we never try to move forward and live an
elephant-like life, bound by false beliefs.
